Update: Narcis 2.0

When I started Narcis I wasn't that aware of where I wanted to take it. At that point it was simply just an outlet with which I could communicate with other bloggers, and put up my own two cents in the Blogosphere. Yet, as time passed, I started getting more and more passionate about this little corner on the internet. Perhaps it was because I saw how other people cherished their own blogs, and how passionate they were about it, and somehow it rubbed onto me as well. I started re-designing it, then re-designed it again, and played around with different content topics — I was trying to figure it all out.
Maybe at first I thought Narcis would turn into a skincare, men grooming related blog. That was my first content of choice at the time. Yet, because I was studying graphic design, I also started reading a lot of graphic blogs, and I carefully admired their posts, which were always accompanied by amazing graphics, that I couldn't help myself but admire from afar. I don't think of myself as a graphic designer just yet, and who knows, maybe I never will. But at the end of the day, I really like graphic design, as I think it's my way of creating something. I can't draw amazing art on a canvas, I never have enough confidence and patience to write a book, and I mostly find myself in the graphic design and photography waters. That is where my boat floats.
I rambled a lot right there, didn't I? And completely missed the point of the post all together, but still, perhaps that first part is a good way to introduce the point of the post. That is that slowly, but surely, Narcis is changing into what I want it to be. I'm currently in the midst of re-designing it, and hopefully this will remain as my own brand. I am also in the process of purchasing my own domain, which sadly will have to wait for the banks to open so I can deposit money onto my Visa. But yes, Narcis is changing into a mixture of graphic design (hopefully with improvements along the way), fashion, which is something that I also find a lot of interest in, and of course, there will be skincare from a man's point of view as well. When it comes to content, I realised that as long as I write about things that interest me, it is all fine and dandy. At the end of the day, who would want to read anything written on a topic that the writer has no interest in, am I right?

Beside the general design of Narcis, the one thing that has been upgraded is the now available subscription to the Narcis Newsletter, which is monthly based, and it delivers to you the most recent blog posts, as well as some special little surprises that will only be available with the Newsletter subscription. You can find the subscribe button in the sidebar. Hope you will be as excited about this as I am.

Hopefully all of you will remain on board on Narcis' journey, and many more will join. Oh, and you can expect a much more strict post schedule in the upcoming future, I just have to figure that part out, and get much more organised.

A big thank you to all of you who are reading this, and feel free to drop by the comments and have a little chat, that's always lovely.

Is there anything in particular that you would like to see on the blog?
