The Narcis reboot

WHAT I'M WEARING

Polo Shirt by David Beckham for H&M // Belt by H&M // Shorts by Peacoat Real Value

For the longest time, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with this blog. I was lost. There were some posts that I absolutely adored writing, and are to this day still my favourites, e.g. Anxiety isn't some nasty secret to be ashamed of! Perhaps because it's a topic that's very close to my heart, but for the most part I spent a lot of time wondering what to write about next. My life isn't always interesting enough for this place to become a proper lifestyle blog, and I'm still not at a point where I could have a good enough graphic design blog, in my most honest opinion.
So after a lot of thinking, and being surrounded by amazing blogger friends, I decided to reboot Narcis Blog, with a much clearer idea of what I want to do with it. As you may have already seen, I did some drastic changes to the layout, and if you take a closer look at the navigation bar you might be able to see what you can expect more of on Narcis Blog. First on the list we have skincare, as those are the posts that I enjoy most reading, and over the past year I became quite enthusiastic about that particular topic. Plus blogging about it gives me an excuse to indulge in more products that are on my wish list — what do you mean, I don't need another cleanser, but it's for the blog! Amirite? Then we have the typical lifestyle section that will still remain, although it strongly depends on how interesting my life is at the very moment, as I can't exactly blog about the same coffee shop a hundred times, it would be a bore, really! And last but not least, we have a fashion segment, that I'm very stoked about, as I always wanted this blog to have some sort of a fashion feel to it.
The last thing that I decided up on is to try and take at least 90% of all the pictures on the blog. I used to rely heavily on stock pictures in the past, and honestly I never felt very good about it, as to me it felt like the blog lacked a bit of a personal touch, if you catch my drift. Some bloggers are able to pull off stock pictures and make wonderful graphics out of it, I never felt like I was one of them. So I'm going to try and improve on my photography in the future.
Thank you for sticking with me for so long and through all my ups and downs, and I hope that you'll be pleased with the Narcis reboot.
