Travel Fashion Essentials

As promised we're continuing with the Travel theme but today we're focusing on some Fashion Essentials. If you missed it, you can read the previous post that was all about Travel Grooming Essentials. When it comes to fashion related bits and pieces, I decided to keep it relatively simple as of course we'll spend most of our time on the beach. So I just focused on a few items that I'll be able to dress up come the night time if we decide to spice it up a bit and live wildly. By wildly I probably mean a few cocktails in a bar somewhere — exciting, right?

First I'd like to say that I'm not much of a flip flops kind of guy, however I must admit that I fell in love with these Nike Celso Thong Plus Sandals (£19.99). They're incredibly comfortable, and I was looking out for a pair of flip flops that weren't made out of plastic as those tend to irritate my skin a lot. These are just perfect, and my feet appear to like them a lot as well. Now this H&M Divided Short-sleeved shirt (£14.99) is quite an oldie, but I managed to find a similar one in Chambray here. The Jack & Jones Core Basic T-shirt (£10.00) is a very simple grey toned T-shirt that can go with pretty much anything in your wardrobe, for me this was a no brainer piece. You can get two pairs for £15 on their official website.

I'm very difficult to please when it comes to shorts and trousers, but somehow I always seem pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of Zara Men. I absolutely fell in love with these Knitted Bermudas (£15.99) since the moment I saw them (or well, my mum was the first to spot them out). They're probably one of the comfiest shorts I wore in a very, very long time and they'll be a staple this summer for me. These Smart Trousers (£15.99) are probably my favourite to wear on a night out, honestly I think I abuse them a little bit considering just how often I tend to wear them out. Sadly none of these two trousers from Zara are currently being sold, so I tried to find similar pairs. And lastly, since sunscreen doesn't offer 100% protection from sun rays, I picked up the regular Nike Metal Swoosh cap in black (£9.99).

And last but definitely not least we have the Accessories. Let's start off with this huge H&M Weekend Bag (£29.99) in black with gold detail, also currently not available since I had this since three years ago, but I picked out something quite similar with leather detail instead of gold. The wallet is just a standard Leather wallet with a coin department I bought in a random store, but Zara Men offers a few standard leather wallets just for a suggestion. Diesel Men's DZ7092 black leather watch has been discontinued unfortunately, but if I were to buy a new one right now I'd probably go for the Diesel DZ1706 Starship (£165.00) which is fairly similar in design except it's an analog watch instead of a digital. I was looking for a pair of relatively inexpensive sunglasses for a while when I stumbled upon these Zippo Clubmaster Sunglasses, since these seem unavailable online I found these ASOS Clubmaster Sunglasses (£8.00) that look basically the same. Lastly we have my current favourite fragrance which is the Calvin Klein Reveal For Him (£45.00). I have the 30ml version which I find is perfect for travelling, but I'll probably pick up the 50ml one after I run out of this.

And that is all, I didn't include your usual swimwear items, underwear, socks, etc. simply because I find them to be pretty obvious, and decided to focus on other items instead. Hope that's okay with you. Next up on the blog you'll be reading about what's on my to-read list while away on holiday.
