Seasons may change.

Leaves on the trees already started changing colours, some even started falling autumn has made its majestic return. Even though I myself am a summer child, autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons. I love one of those not too warm, but not too cold days, where you can style your most cosy sweater with a nice leather jacket, and you have yourself a cosy outfit. I almost used the word stylish, even though it's one of those I hate the most (it's insanely abused in the fashion bloggers world).

For me autumn means changes. Where everyone I know falls for the regular new year resolutions, I personally believe that autumn is the perfect place to start those small little changes that you have been wanting for so long but never worked on them enough. In itself every new season brings changes but for me autumn is the one where it all falls perfectly together. The leaves on the trees are changing their colours, the weather changes from sunny to rainy constantly, and to me it simply feels like everything around me is slowly changing. It's a good "kickstarter" for your very own changes.
Personally I'm mostly looking forward to those few hours spent with my friends in a warm local coffee shop, sipping on our coffees, dressed up in our cosy and warm sweaters, minding our own business and just chatting away. For me those few hours mean relaxation, fun and comfort. What more could a person ever want? I would be firmly content with leading that kind of life for years to come. However, autumn doesn't only mean sweater weather and positive changes, but for some it also means the season of studying. Classes are starting up again, and even though you get to spend most of the day with your friends, you would much rather be in that warm local coffee shop with your favourite sweater on, drinking your coffee of choice. Sadly, I fall into the student category, and therefore I will have to share my sweater season with classes season as well, even though I'm having my doubts lately but that's a whole different post for another day!
I feel like September will be the month of productivity when it comes to me, and many others from what I've seen and heard. For one I'm finishing a blog design for a dear friend of mine, which will be done soon and featured on the blog in the upcoming days. There will be studying, book reading, blog writing, and perhaps slow beginnings of a project that I had in mind for quite some time now, yet never found time to develop properly.
The rain outside keeps reminding me that it's time for my tea and documentary watching in bed. Today I decided to check out The Secret World of Haute Couture by BBC. On days like this, when the rain is slowly drizzling on my roof window, I feel like fashion documentaries are entertaining while being informative all in one. I don't think my brain could handle a history documentary right now.

What are your autumn plans? How do you prefer to spend your rainy autumn days?
